Export of Rice (Basmati and Non-Basmati) to EU member states and other European Countries namely Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland will require Certificate of Inspection from EIA/EIC. Export to remaining European countries (except Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) will require Certificate of Inspection from 1st July, 2022.

Import policy of Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) has been revised from ‘Free’ to ‘Restricted’ subject to NOC from MoEF&CC.

The last date for submitting applications under MEIS (for exports made in the period – 01.04.2020 to 31.12.2020), ROSCTL, ROSL and 2% additional ad hoc incentive (under para 3.25 of FTP, only for exports made in the period 01.01.2020 to 31.03.2020) has been extended upto 28.02.2022.
